INGREDIENTS

2pcs 250g Australian Grain Fed Striploin
2 tbsp olive oil
1 thinly sliced onion
2 tbsp Cajun spice mix

PREPARATION

Add the olive oil, sliced onion and half of the Cajun spice mix to a bowl that’s large enough for the steaks.

Place the steaks inside the bowl to marinate and turn gently to coat. Spoon half of the sliced onions evenly over the steaks.

Pre-heat the Weber Barbeque to medium-high and keep the lid closed for at least 15 minutes or until the temperature reaches 250°C.

Remove the steaks from the marinade and sprinkle the remaining spice rub evenly over both steaks.

Place the steaks into the Barbecue, cover and grill until the internal temperature reaches 55°C for a medium rare doneness. This is roughly 3 minutes for each side.

Handy tip: Always remember to grill with the lid closed to quickly cook the meats and maintain the maximum amount of moisture.

When the grilling is complete, remove from the Barbeque and serve.
